FOR LIFE

FOR LIFE

"Formed in the mid 1990s in Working Class Upper Darby consisting of lads from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania was made up of Brandon Mock on Guitar, Bob Wiegand on Bass, Erik Eleftherakis on Vocals and Shane Wuscheny on Drums. Their sound was that of streetwise kids playing a brutal mixture between Heavy Metal and Hardcore Punk. Taking cues from bands on the era, they’re sound is comparable to the NYHC sound that dominated pretty much every East Coast Hardcore scene in the mid 90s. They’ve played with bands such as Madball, Breakdown, Next Step Up, All Else Failed and No Redeeming Social Value. The Speakeasy on Garrett Road in Upper Darby by 69th Street is where they played so many Sunday afternoon matinees that it’s hard to keep track of. As far as I’m aware they have two recordings. One 4 song demo and one 10 song release dedicated to the memory of their drummer Shane.

Their drummer Shane Wuscheny died on November 23, 1998. In June of 2009 the band got back together for the 10th anniversary of Shane’s death. They played their first set in a long time at The Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA. They are due back for a second show at The Rusty Nail on October 17th, 2009.

Dedicated to the memory of Shane Sidney John Wuscheny.
Born January 11, 1979, Died November 23, 1998.
He was 19 years young."
